The Nat Note & Over The Moon - Gift Guide for Brides

I have five friends who have had to postpone their wedding celebrations. With the continued restrictions in place and the uncertainty surrounding the future of what social gatherings will look like in the wake of COVID-19, chances are you also know folks who will have to change their wedding plans in some way.

It’s impossible not to feel for these couples - so much time and planning (and so many expectations) have had to be put on pause. Their already existing countdowns to their big days continue to get prolonged - and we can’t even give them the big hug they deserve and need right now.

Whether because I spend a lot of time shopping online or because gifting is my love language, I’ve had a lot of friends reach out recently to ask what would be a good gift to send a bride whose wedding has been delayed. When my friend Alex Macon at Over the Moon reached out with an idea to put together a gift guide for these brides, I realized we’re all in good company.

These ideas include small pick me ups as well as bigger gifts (should the entire bridal party wish to get in on the giving together) - but each was chosen with the thought that it would brighten the day for the brides-in-waiting in our lives. A lot of us are surviving by taking it one day at a time - and sometimes a surprise in the mail is all it takes to make the day a success (and the unexpected/added wedding planning not so bad).
